WiFi Upgrade Functionality

WiFi upgrade functionality is a core feature of the DO928. It is primarily used in the following scenarios:

— Fixing vulnerabilities discovered during customer use
— Providing customized features and user interfaces

Customer devices do not need to be returned to the factory; they can be upgraded directly to the latest version via WiFi.

Important Notes:
WiFi upgrades are performed only when customers report malfunctions or request feature updates. Customers must provide the instrument serial number (SN). We do not automatically push updates when internal software is updated.

The instrument serial number is required to execute updates. The update program can only run after we upload the update file to the server. Running the update program directly on the instrument will result in failure, as the program cannot execute the update.

Q What parameters can the DO928 gauge monitor simultaneously?
A The DO928 is a 9-in-1 race dash that can monitor RPM, Speed, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Water Temperature, Boost, Air-Fuel Ratio, EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature), and Voltage — all at the same time on a single display.
Q How does the WiFi upgrade feature work?
A The WiFi upgrade allows customers to update their DO928 firmware wirelessly without returning the unit to the factory. Upgrades are initiated only when a customer reports a malfunction or requests a feature update. The customer must provide their instrument's serial number (SN) to proceed.
Q Will the DO928 receive automatic firmware updates?
A No. The DO928 does not push automatic updates. Updates are only uploaded to the server upon customer request. Attempting to run the update program without an uploaded update file will result in failure.
Q Which parameters have alarm functions?
A The DO928 supports alarms for all 9 parameters: Speed, RPM, Boost, Water Temperature, Oil Temperature, Oil Pressure, Voltage, Air-Fuel Ratio, and Exhaust Temperature. Each alarm can be configured to alert you when readings exceed safe thresholds.
Q What is the warranty policy for the DO928?
A The DO928 comes with a one-year warranty. Please note that damage caused by human factors is not covered. All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of professional installation.
Q Does the DO928 support both metric and imperial units?
A Yes. The DO928 supports both metric and imperial units for most parameters. For example, Speed can be displayed in KM/H or MPH, temperature in °C or °F, and pressure in PSI or BAR, making it suitable for users worldwide.
