Why doesn't the pointer return to zero when the engine is off?
These gauges use stepper motors, which require power to reset the pointer to the zero position. It is completely normal for the pointer to remain in its last position when the vehicle is turned off. Once you start the engine and power is restored, the pointer will automatically return to zero.

These gauges are suitable for 12V gasoline vehicles. The Tachometer (RPM Meter) is specifically designed for 4-cylinder, 6-cylinder, and 8-cylinder engines only. They are not compatible with diesel engines or vehicles with a different cylinder count.
