⚙️ Wide Band Oxygen Version Descriptions
🔵 Auto Detection
When the monitor is turned on, it will automatically communicate with the DPU. Once the DPU detects a wide band oxygen signal, the screen will automatically display the wide band oxygen version; if no wide band oxygen signal is detected, the screen will automatically display the narrow band oxygen version.
🟢 Wide Band Oxygen Mode
The "air-fuel ratio" parameter displays the air-fuel ratio data detected by the wide oxygen sensor, with a display range of 0.0~99.9:1. Two additional parameters also appear in the multi-function display area at the bottom:
LAMBDA (λ) and
OXYGEN (the percentage of oxygen content).
🟡 Narrow Band Oxygen Mode
When the system does not detect a wide band oxygen signal, the "air-fuel ratio" parameter displays the narrow band oxygen sensor data, with a display range of 20~10:1.
🔴 Error Monitoring
When the wide oxygen sensor is working, the controller monitors its status at all times. Once an error is found, the controller will stop monitoring and display the error code
"ERR xx" in the multi-function display area at the bottom of the screen.
("xx" represents the specific error code. For example, when working normally, unplugging the sensor wiring will cause the instrument to display "Err 7F")
🟠 Pre-Heating Notice
When the wide oxygen sensor starts to work, there is a pre-heating process of approximately 1–2 minutes. During this time, the air-fuel ratio on the screen will display
0.00, which is normal. Once the sensor enters normal operating state, the correct air-fuel ratio value will be displayed.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
QWhat parameters can the DO926WB display monitor measure?
The DO926WB can monitor up to 9 parameters: RPM, Speed, Turbo (Boost), Water Temperature, Oil Temperature, Oil Pressure, Voltage, Air-Fuel Ratio, and Exhaust Temperature (EXT Temp). All parameters are displayed on a single multi-function LCD dashboard.
QHow does the wide band oxygen sensor version work?
When the monitor powers on, it automatically communicates with the DPU. If a wide band oxygen signal is detected, the system switches to wide band mode (display range 0.0~99.9:1) and shows additional LAMBDA (λ) and OXYGEN parameters. If no signal is found, it defaults to narrow band oxygen mode (range 20~10:1).
QWhy does the air-fuel ratio display 0.00 when the sensor first starts?
This is completely normal. The wide band oxygen sensor requires a pre-heating period of approximately 1–2 minutes before it can provide accurate readings. Once it reaches its normal operating temperature, the correct air-fuel ratio value will be displayed automatically.
QWhat does the error code "ERR xx" on the screen mean?
The "ERR xx" code indicates that the controller has detected an issue with the wide band oxygen sensor. "xx" represents the specific error code. For example, "Err 7F" typically appears when the sensor wiring is unplugged during operation. Once an error is detected, the controller stops monitoring the wide oxygen sensor until the issue is resolved.
QCan I adjust the display backlight color and brightness?
Yes. The DO926WB supports seven backlight colors in addition to the default white display, allowing you to choose based on personal preference or ambient environment. Brightness can be adjusted manually across three levels or set to automatic mode, which adapts to the current lighting conditions.
QWhat is included in the package and what is the warranty coverage?
The package includes 15 items: Display Monitor, DPU, Sensor Connection Wire Bundle, Oil Pressure Sensor, Data Line, Exhaust Temperature Sensor, Boost Pipe, Boost Sensor, Water/Oil Temperature Sensor, Wide Band Oxygen Sensor and Wiring, Exhaust Temperature Adapter, Boost Pipe Air Filter, Boost Pipe T-Fitting, DPU Installation Panel, and Installation Screws. A one-year warranty is provided, excluding damage caused by human factors. Proof of professional installation is required for all warranty claims.
