WiFi Upgrade Functionality

WiFi upgrade functionality is a core feature of the DO928. It is primarily used in the following scenarios:

  • Fixing vulnerabilities discovered during customer use
  • Providing customized features and user interfaces

Customer devices do not need to be returned to the factory — they can be upgraded directly to the latest version via WiFi.

⚠ Important Notes:

WiFi upgrades are performed only when customers report malfunctions or request feature updates. Customers must provide the instrument serial number (SN). We do not automatically push updates when internal software is updated.

The instrument serial number is required to execute updates. The update program can only run after we upload the update file to the server. Running the update program directly on the instrument will result in failure, as the program cannot execute the update.

Q What parameters can the DO928 9-in-1 gauge monitor simultaneously?
The DO928 can monitor up to 9 parameters at once: RPM, Speed, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature, Water Temperature, Boost, Air-Fuel Ratio, Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), and Voltage — all displayed on a single unit.
Q How does the WiFi upgrade feature work?
The WiFi upgrade feature allows your DO928 to be updated remotely without returning the unit to the factory. When you report a malfunction or request a feature update, you provide your instrument serial number (SN), and we upload the update file to the server. You then run the update program on the instrument to complete the upgrade.
Q Will the firmware update automatically when a new version is released?
No. Firmware updates are not pushed automatically. Updates are only performed when a customer reports a malfunction or specifically requests a feature update. You must provide your instrument serial number (SN) to initiate the process.
Q Which parameters support alarm settings on the DO928?
The DO928 supports individual alarm settings for all 9 monitored parameters: Speed, RPM, Boost, Water Temperature, Oil Temperature, Oil Pressure, Voltage, Air-Fuel Ratio, and Exhaust Temperature. You can set custom alert thresholds for each.
Q Does the gauge support both metric and imperial units?
Yes. The DO928 supports both metric and imperial units across all parameters — for example, Speed can be displayed in KM/H or MPH, Temperature in °C or °F, and Pressure in PSI or BAR.
Q What is covered under the warranty, and what is required to make a claim?
The DO928 comes with a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Damage caused by human factors (such as improper installation or misuse) is excluded. All warranty claims require proof of professional installation to be processed.
