Explore our premium range of custom gauge systems, multi-function displays, and plug-and-play racing clusters engineered for absolute signal precision.
Modern vehicle instrument systems are no longer just passive mechanical pointer clusters. As telematics, CAN-bus integration, and electric vehicle (EV) drivetrains advance, the demand for highly reliable, fast-response, and custom dashboard gauge clusters has grown exponentially. For professional engineering buyers, project managers, and automotive designers, finding a manufacturer capable of delivering design flexibility alongside industrial-grade reliability is critical.
From micro-controller unit (MCU) selections to high-contrast liquid crystal displays (LCD) readable under direct sunlight, our manufacturing capability spans the full product lifecycle. By bridging traditional electrical engineering with dynamic digital interfaces, we produce instrument clusters that perform under intense heat, mechanical vibration, and electromagnetic interference.
Welcome to Ruian DongOu Automobile Meter Factory — where decades of traditional manufacturing experience meet modern automotive innovation.
Located in the automotive component hub of Ruian, China, Ruian DongOu Automobile Meter Factory has spent nearly four decades researching, developing, and manufacturing automotive instrumentation systems. We have developed deep expertise in automotive gauge systems, building a mature and complete technical workflow and establishing a stable, highly efficient production infrastructure.
Our commitment to design excellence has earned us a strong reputation in the global automotive instrumentation market. We have established comprehensive operational workflows spanning production management, strict quality control (QC) parameters, agile supply chain management, and after-sales service. We rely on precision tooling machines and high-accuracy measurement instruments to ensure every product leaving our line meets standard automotive parameters.
We serve two distinct segments of the automotive market, ensuring that whether your project is professional motorsport or street tuning, we have the ideal product line.
Professional Racing Displays & OBDII Solutions
Co-developed in partnership with a leading Australian automotive engineering firm, SincoTech represents our high-end professional racing division. Engineered to meet the demanding requirements of track environments, SincoTech clusters utilize advanced OLED/LCD screens and offer multi-channel data tracking (up to 18 critical parameters including RPM, exhaust gas temperature, and boost pressure). Supporting both standard OBDII protocols and external sensor integrations via Bluetooth, SincoTech delivers low-latency telemetry for high-performance track vehicles.
Versatile Modified & Tuner Instrument Ecosystem
GragonGauge focuses on custom modifications and street performance upgrades. This line covers all classic analog and digital hybrid instruments: boost gauges, vacuum gauges, voltmeters, exhaust temp gauges (EGT), air-fuel ratio meters, water/oil temperature indicators, and oil pressure sensors. Available in standard industrial mounting dimensions—including 52mm (2 inches), 60mm (2.36 inches), and 85mm (3.75 inches)—GragonGauge allows drivers to build customized gauge layouts for their builds.
Our operations leverage advanced manufacturing principles to maintain production efficiency, consistent quality, and competitive lead times. Modern automotive projects face strict timelines; a delay in dashboard delivery can halt an entire production line or postpone a vehicle release. Our facility is structured to mitigate these risks through vertically integrated manufacturing:
| Performance Metric | Traditional Aftermarket Factories | Ruian DongOu (Factory 4.0 Standard) |
|---|---|---|
| Signal Latency | > 120ms (Noticeable lag on RPM shifts) | < 30ms (Real-time data visualization) |
| Operating Temp Range | -10°C to +60°C | -40°C to +85°C (Automotive grade) |
| Vibration Durability | Unrated (Risk of loose solder joints) | Meets standard ISO 16750 automotive vibration profiles |
| Customization Scope | Off-the-shelf options only | Full ODM (Bezels, dials, firmware, logo screen) |
Traditional gauge wiring required running separate analog lines for each sensor, leading to thick, complex wire harnesses. Modern custom dashboard installations utilize CAN-bus networks to receive consolidated digital packages from the engine control unit (ECU). This reduces weight and simplifies wiring. Our SincoTech clusters utilize clean OBDII and CAN connections, allowing users to monitor over a dozen metrics through a single input line.
While full LCD panels are increasingly common, many drivers and operators prefer analog-digital hybrid configurations. A physical pointer needle provides quick visual feedback on critical metrics like RPM, while digital sub-screens display oil pressure, fuel level, and boost values. We support both configurations, providing high-precision stepper motors alongside multi-color LED readouts.
Custom dashboards are no longer limited to performance cars. Heavy equipment, marine craft, agricultural machinery, and electric utility vehicles require reliable instrumentation that resists dust, moisture, and salt spray. Our engineering team designs IP67-rated enclosures, utilizing UV-resistant polycarbonate lenses and chemical-resistant bezels to protect internal electronics in challenging conditions.
From drag strips in North America to marine vessels in Northern Europe, our custom dashboard gauge systems are deployed worldwide.
Designed to withstand high vibrations and track conditions, our high-contrast display panels keep drivers informed with configurable warning thresholds and shift lights.
Our custom instrument solutions are used in fire response units, airport tugs, and utility vehicles requiring customized sensor scales and warning indicators.
Engineered with double-layered anti-fog lenses, UV stabilization, and water-resistant seals to perform reliably in marine environments and open-cockpit utility terrain vehicles (UTVs).
Compatible with a wide range of input resistances and pulse rates, making our gauges simple to integrate with new electric drivetrains and classic engine swaps alike.
