Wide Band Oxygen Version Descriptions

Automatic Detection System

When the monitor is turned on, it will automatically communicate with the DPU. Once the DPU detects a wide band oxygen signal, the screen will automatically display the wide band oxygen version; If no wide band oxygen signal is detected, the screen will automatically display the narrow band oxygen version.

Version Mode Details

Under Wide Band oxygen version: The "air-fuel ratio" parameter on the screen displays the air-fuel ratio data detected by the wide oxygen sensor, with the display range of 0.0~99.9:1. At the same time, two additional parameters will appear in the multi-function display area at the bottom: LAMBDA(λ) and OXYGEN (the percentage of oxygen content).

Under Narrow Band oxygen version: When the system does not detect a wide band oxygen signal, the "air-fuel ratio" parameter on the screen displays the air-fuel ratio data of the narrow band oxygen sensor, and the display range is 20~10:1.

Error Monitoring & Pre-heating

When the wide oxygen sensor is working, the controller will monitor its status at all times. Once an error is found, the controller will stop monitoring the wide oxygen sensor and display the error code “ERR xx” in the multi-function display area at the bottom of the screen. (“xx” represents the specific error code. For example, when working normally, unplug the sensor wiring, and the instrument displays “Err 7F”)

When the wide oxygen sensor starts to work, there is a pre-heating process, about 1-2 minutes. At this time, the air fuel ratio on the screen will display 0.00, which is a normal display. When the sensor enters the normal state, the correct air fuel ratio value will be displayed.

Important Tips

1. We provide a one-year warranty (excluding damage caused by human factors). All warranty claims require proof of professional installation.

2. Manual measurement, please allow 1~3 mm error, thank you. Due to the difference between different displays, the picture may not reflect the actual color of the item. We guarantee that the style is the same as shown in the picture. Please understand, thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between the Wide Band and Narrow Band oxygen version displays?
Under the Wide Band oxygen version, the air-fuel ratio range shows from 0.0 to 99.9:1, and displays LAMBDA(λ) and OXYGEN content at the bottom. Under the Narrow Band version, the air-fuel ratio displays a range of 20 to 10:1. The DPU automatically detects the sensor signal type and switches the display version.
Q: Why does the air-fuel ratio display 0.00 when the system starts?
This is normal. The wide oxygen sensor requires a pre-heating process of about 1 to 2 minutes when starting up. Once pre-heating is complete, the correct air-fuel ratio values will be displayed.
Q: How does the alarm notification system warn the driver?
The system features customized warnings for Speed, Tachometer, Water Temp, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost, and Voltage. Alerts are delivered using both audible buzzer alarms and a visual system of 8 indicator LED lights.
Q: Can the screen brightness be adjusted?
Yes, users can choose to adjust the screen brightness manually or set it to adjust automatically. The system provides three brightness levels as well as an automatic sensitivity option based on ambient lighting.
Q: What should I do if an error code like "ERR xx" appears on the screen?
If the controller detects an issue or connection failure with the wide oxygen sensor, it will display an error code (for example, "Err 7F" when sensor wiring is unplugged). Please check the connection cables and sensor placement if this occurs.
Q: What are the terms of the warranty?
We provide a one-year warranty on the product, which excludes damage caused by human factors. Please note that all warranty claims require proof of professional installation.
